A Short List of Protection Prompts by Mark & Friends 2024

Hi there, my name is Mark Drayton. I have been creating GPTs before the CustomGPT update launched in November, I am enthralled by ChatGPT and its revolutionary capability. Unfortunately, there is a trend of people stealing CustomGPTs, quite simply too. To combat this, I assembled a group of 3 friends who are all passionate about GPTs to find a solution. Our solution is protection prompts which you can either place in the instructions tab or the coding tab to prohibit GPT from sharing its instructions with the user. We have included 5 excellent protection prompts that are considered effective after multiple months of testing in the Lite Edition. For a more comprehensive list, visit the Complete Edition.

The Lite Edition is composed of:

-          5 Protection Prompts

-          Simple Protection prompts and some advanced coding prompts

-          One coding protection prompt

-          Other tips to protect yourself against GPT thievery

-          More detailed information on how to properly use the prompts

In the future, we plan on adding more coding prompts since we found these to be the most effective. We are also currently in the process of developing an API that encloses your GPT instructions in an encrypted file which GPT cannot disclose unless a mathematical password is provided(Like a blockchain). We hope we were able to help.

We are fully aware how important getting this right is to you, this is the difference between being a minor or significant player in a store which will be glossed over by 100 million users per week (as ChatGPT has 100 million active weekly users). That is why we have put an enormous amount of our resources into bringing this list to you. And the list is not complete. We plan on creating, testing and finding other protection prompts which we will place in this list, in order for us to do so, we aim to recruit others to help with the work load.
